I take it as direct confirmation of the accuracy and comprehensiveness of Sri Aurobindo’s vision and as validation of my spiritual opening that I did not have prior knowledge of the contents of the excerpts here presented, except in a most general understanding of the schematic outline of steps of the process and gradations and planes of spirit as Aurobindo expounded, until three years after my opening and several months after I had written the rest of this account (Editor: See An Account of a Transformational Passage). Transcribing these excerpts after all else has been concluded has not only enriched me and personally confirmed the event for me, but it has also given me a view of what lies ahead and answered lingering questions about why the event unfolded in the manner it did. Aurobindo is a towering spiritual giant, one who is worthy of far more devotion, attention, and reverence than he has thus far been accorded.
